Creamery visits House of Commons
Our campaign to protect Real Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese from poor imitations reached new heights earlier this week when we travelled down to London with Lizzie Murphy from the Yorkshire Post to deliver thousands of signatures supporting our cause.
The Wensleydale Creamery, led by David Hartley (pictured) handed over more than 14,000 signatures to Richmond Tory MP William Hague backing its application for protected status.

The wife and I recently visited Hawes, and of course we took a tour of the dairy. We bought some Wensleydale from the on-site shop and it was simply delicious. Surely there can be no serious competitors to this wonderful, locally-produced cheese?
